Dead space 2 Review

Dead space 2 starts in Sprawl,a giant space station in orbit around Saturn. Isaac wakes up after almost 3 years from where it ended in USG Ishimura(Dead space),and now he is suffering from hallucination where he often see his girlfriend Nicole who died in Dead space. With not much choices to make Isaac comes across a women called Diana  who promises him to cure his disorder and so the journey begins.

Isaac who didn't speak a word in Dead space has voice now and just like original game the main objective of Isaac is not being a engineer but is to survive the non stop Necromorph which is on his way, well here it's not only Necromorph but the Sprawl security officers have direct orders to take down Isaac and all the Makers experiments so they try to kill him every now and then. There are few twists as the game progresses where person called Strauss whom we first thought was a psycho turns out to be the one who want to help Isaac destroying marker and the only person we trusted (Diana) was just using Isaac to create Marker again. Ellie is one more survivor who will join the party later and will turn out as one memorable character in the end.

First few chapters in the game is very short with very few boss battles which will soon change in later part of the game. Graphics and game play are brilliantly designed with new necromorph and striking background music which will always keep u entertained. Few new add-on are also included to the rig which can be upgraded using Power nodes,flexibility of zero gravity is increased which lets player to move to any position in air. Coming to weapons,Plasma cutter is everyone's favorite along with line gun and pulse rifle, these are the only 3 weapons i upgraded.There is not many ammo's to waste so use your weapons wisely for particular necromorph.Detonator is new inclusion to weapon list game which really comes in handy in few missions. If u have played Dead space then u certainly are familiar with Statis and telekinesis.Statis used to slow enemies and telekinesis is used to move objects,which also can be used as weapon in many situation. There are few puzzles where these two play important role.The mechanism, aiming system all have improved where u can even reload while running also i like the storyline which made this game highly enjoyable.

Multiplayer is new inclusion so i will give little details about It .Here u play 4 against 4 once as human and then as necromorph, as human u have some objective to complete and always have advantage if u stick together since u have weapons and statis to slow down necromorph. In necromorph there are 4 different types and each have their own ability .Neromorph also has better visuals as they can see through walls and when u are outnumbered it's not difficult to get a kill.
